Every ruler under the spiritual reign of King David, that is, our Lord Jesus, engages in battle against the protective forces, striking down foes in the valley of Soleil. This valley represents the flesh, which, due to disobedience, has transformed into a wretched land of desires. Within this valley, every devoted and God-fearing individual confronts nature and time through their reasoning and meditation. Alternatively, in such individuals, the elevation of their virtues and wisdom allows the unruly yearnings of the soul to remain unaffected by the laws of nature and the passage of time.
