What is the significance of the phrase ‘end prophesying’? (1 Sam. 10:13) Saul did not possess the gift of prophecy as a permanent trait, but he proclaimed as a demonstration and evidence of a spiritual endowment at that moment. Similarly, the seventy elders selected by the esteemed Moses received the gift of prophecy right after their appointment; although they did not continue to prophesy, they provided solutions to the challenges faced by the people.
