Hosea ruled for fifty-two years during the reign of Amulius over the Latins and Agamestor, who was the eleventh ruler among the Athenians.

Hosea ruled for fifty-two years during the reign of Amulius among the Latins and Agamestor the eleventh among the Athenians. Following Hosea's passing, the prophet Isaiah experienced a vision that we will now seek to clarify. This vision occurred in the year that Romulus, the founder of the Roman Empire, was born. Those familiar with the book of the Times (Paralipomenon), which we have translated from Greek to Latin, will recognize this context.
