A vividly accurate depiction of this biological occurrence shows vast expanses of land, several hundred square versts plagued by locusts, leaving devastation in their wake. The entire region resembles an area scorched by flames. Cook draws an intriguing connection: it is well-known that Egypt had a strong affinity for horticulture. Furthermore, Duemichen’s observations regarding Egypt reveal that the widow of Thothmes II, during her reign after the Exodus, requested fruit trees from the southern lands of Arabia.
