In the third century of the third millennium, the just Lamech, son of Methuselah and father of Noah, passed away before his father, thirty-five years prior to the flood. The chronicles in Russian Bibles record this event as occurring in 2127, while chronographical accounts note it in 2207. Lamech lived for a total of 753 years.
