This division is absent in the Septuagint. Its implication is that the liberation of God's people from Egypt is not through Moses but through Jesus Christ, who redeems them from the entire world in which they have been dispersed. This promise sees partial fulfillment in the present age but will reach its complete realization when individuals from all directions—east and west, north and south—gather to rest with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Matt. 8:11). It is at this point, after the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, that all Israel will experience salvation (Rom. 11:23, 26).

In relation to the prophets, either through them or in contrast to them, this heading, as mentioned earlier, is misattributed at the end of the prior section in the Septuagint, which states, "And the name by which the Lord will be called is 'The Lord our Righteousness,' by the prophets." Many individuals, unaware of this mistake, concoct various misleading interpretations. It would be far more wise to acknowledge one's lack of understanding than to propagate that ignorance to others. This pertains to the false prophets of Jerusalem and Samaria, whom He refers to simply as prophets, of whom it is stated in the subsequent verses: "And among the prophets of Samaria I have seen a scandalous thing" (Jeremiah 23:13) and "And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen horrible things" (Jeremiah 23:14). The conjunction "and" draws attention to the Lord's prior remarks regarding those prophets who have manifested as false prophets.
