The opening of this narrative appears to me as a concise reiteration of the actions of Joshua. It references Hebron, a city allotted to Caleb as his inheritance, alongside the defeat of three giants known as 'Cecin, Ahiman, and Folmiah,' identified with the descendants of Enoch. It seems likely that their defeat was merely prophesied at that moment, with the actual fulfillment occurring at a later time.
