The Church Fathers on this verse

One Church Father comments on this verse

Nikolaj Velimirovic

20th centuryChurch Father

O man, be thankful to God that there are those who wish good for you, whether material or spiritual. This means that you are a person to whom God has entrusted some of His goods, for everything belongs to God. Show yourself worthy of this trust; show yourself worthy in small things, so that greater things may be entrusted to you.
