and in her kindness, she extended blessings to the distant supporter. For she declared: ‘Blessed is he who recognizes you’; for he has nourished the needy spirit, as he has acted, meaning he has focused not on your lack, but on the Lawgiver, who has ordained that all diligence should be applied for the care of widows.
