Theodoret of Cyrus

He refers to the Koreans as the descendants of Koreans and notes that among them were also the attendants of God's temple, an establishment founded by Samuel and David. It is recorded that "These were numbered and set up by David and Samuel the seer in their faith. And these, and their sons, were at the gates of the house of the Lord, and in the house of the tabernacle, to perform their duties according to the four winds" (1 Chronicles 9:22-24).
