Those who ignore these teachings and shield the one destined for judgment, similar to Saul of Agag (1 Sam. 15:9) and Eli whose sons were ignorant of the Lord (1 Sam. 2:25-34), have tarnished their own integrity and that of the Church in their community. As such, they stand guilty both in the sight of God and righteous individuals, as they become a source of temptation to many who are newly awakened in faith and those who are still learning, as well as to young men and women. A dire fate is in store for them, with a millstone tied around their neck (Matthew 18:6-7), and they will face the depths for their transgressions.

Due to their willful negligence, those they lead will falter, and being afflicted by the same error, they will surely face destruction alongside them, as did the followers of Jeroboam (3 Kings 12:12-15) and the group led by Korah (Num. 16:32-35).
