It is stated in Scripture that they consumed holy foods prior to their consecration and before presenting offerings to God.
Also before they burnt the fat, the servant of the priest came, and said to the man that sacrificed: Give me flesh to boil for the priest: for I will not take of thee sodden flesh, but raw.

What led to the condemnation of Eli's sons, the high priest, and resulted in his sudden demise upon learning of their deaths, particularly due to his neglect in their upbringing? Was it not the inappropriate removal of the sacrificial meat from the cauldrons and consuming it? (see also Matthew 4:2)
