He granted us the territory of the king of Zion, not out of animosity toward Zion, but because he unjustly wronged the descendants of Lot. Just as we see vengeance upon the Egyptians, who intended harm against us, so too do we enact retribution against the Ammorites, who committed wrongs against the children of Lot.
