It can be stated that the Lord made Zion's heart unyielding, much like He did with Pharaoh: His actions were just, for Zion committed wickedness just as Pharaoh did; thus, Zion faced destruction akin to Pharaoh's fate. Similarly, Og met his end in the same manner, as he mirrored Zion in every respect.
