As previously mentioned, the emergence of virtue is accompanied by a corresponding increase in the malice of the enemy, who looks for opportunities to lure individuals into sin. As the people thrive in living according to God's will, the adversary intensifies his efforts, resorting to various forms of wickedness against those who are strong in the fight of faith.
