The land was afflicted by God's anger. It was the Promised Land, described in Scripture as flowing with milk and honey, rich in abundance. Within its confines, millions thrived, not only enjoying sumptuous meals but also exporting their excess crops to surrounding nations (3 Kings 5:9; Acts 12:20). However, over time, the fertility of the Promised Land diminished, and where once millions resided, only tens of thousands now barely survive. This is the consistent account of every traveler to Palestine.
