In the morning, the dew had fallen and transformed into sustenance for those who collected it. This dew was unlike the typical water droplets associated with dew; instead, it manifested as rounded pieces that appeared icy and resembled coriander seeds, as the locals referred to them. However, their taste was reminiscent of the sweetness found in honey.

It has been previously stated that the manna received from the Lord differs significantly from the tamarind juice currently referred to as manna. The divine manna was versatile, able to be transformed into flour, and could be ‘ground, pounded, boiled, made into cakes’ (Num. 11:8). In Hebrew, the term 'mann,' which is also found in Arabic, signifies a gift or a present.
