The enclosure of the tabernacle featured a curtain that measured 100 cubits (150 feet) on one long side, supported by 20 pillars. This arrangement allowed for a spacing of five cubits (7.5 feet) between each pillar, connected by ties, likely staves. The veil made of fine white linen was suspended from these pillars using silver staves and fastened with silver hooks. The tops of the pillars were also covered in silver as noted in Exodus 38:17. At the front of the enclosure, there were just three posts on either side, which supported an extension of the linen veil, leaving a wide entrance of twenty cubits in the center.
