This verse illustrates that Moses resided within the camp and each morning stepped out to the tent he designated as the tabernacle of meeting. It was within this sacred space that he engaged only with those who sought the Lord, individuals who approached Moses to inquire of God regarding broader directives and significant decisions. It is noteworthy to observe the organization of the camp; as Moses proceeded to the entrance of his tent, the people would gather and stand at the openings of their own tents until he entered the tabernacle. This behavior reflects both deep respect for their leader and the significance of what followed.
