This refers to the Tamnah previously mentioned. This Tamnah was the concubine of Eliphaz, the firstborn son of Esau, and together they had a son named Amalek (Gen. 36:12). The Scriptures reference the Horreans because Esau’s firstborn chose a concubine from among the daughters of the Horreans. Regarding the names 'Feman, Kenaz, Amalek,' and others mentioned (Genesis 36:15-16), it is important to recognize that the regions of Idumea later derived their names from these individuals.
