When the destined day arrived, Joseph's predictions were confirmed in action: one was reinstated to his previous fortune, while the other faced execution.

He interpreted the dreams of two of Pharaoh's officials while they were imprisoned. One was executed on the very day Joseph had predicted, while the other was restored to his position, receiving the cup from Pharaoh as Joseph had foretold. Upon hearing this, the chief cupbearer and the chief baker recounted their visions, and Joseph succinctly clarified the meaning of their dreams, which unfolded exactly as he had described: the chief cupbearer was reinstated, and the chief baker met his demise at the king's command. To fulfill the interpretations of their dreams, Pharaoh, after a period of three days, hosted a banquet for his nobles and recalled the chief cupbearer, inviting him back to his former role. However, the chief cupbearer overlooked Joseph's contributions.
