From this, I gather that much of the content presented serves as a concise reiteration of the events that occurred during Jesus' ministry. The author notes: “And Jesus let the people go, and the children of Israel departed, each to his own place, and each to his own inheritance, to inherit the land. And the people worked unto the Lord all the days of Jesus, and all the days of the elders, if they had lived many days with Jesus, if they had understood all the great work of the Lord, which he had done unto Israel.”
