From this, I deduce that the majority of the content presented is a concise recapitulation of the actions undertaken during the time of Jesus. The author notes: "And Jesus released the people, and the children of Israel went forth, each to their own territory and each to their own heritage, to possess the land. The people labored for the Lord throughout the days of Jesus and all the days of the elders, had they lived long with Jesus, if they had comprehended all the mighty deeds of the Lord which He performed for Israel."
