Who shall lift up the sheaf before the Lord, the next day after the sabbath, that it may be acceptable for you, and shall sanctify it.

The sheaf must be presented, as it is stated, "on the next day," which signifies "on the third day." For Christ was raised from the dead on the third day and ascended by His own might into heaven, which is the true sanctuary and the inner sanctum.
