In that place, it is stated that ‘their uncircumcised heart shall be subdued,’ leading them to turn to Me, and I will bring them healing. He has not yet executed the warning but instead declares reconciliation. The message regarding the serpent raised on the cross by Moses in the wilderness, along with the essence of the divine Trinity, remains significant.
The physical circumcision instituted by Abraham served as a distinctive mark, setting you apart from other peoples, including us. It has led to your solitary experience of the miseries that have recently come upon you, resulting in the devastation of your land, the burning of your cities, the destruction of your crops at the hands of your foes, and the fear that keeps any of you from entering Jerusalem. Your only distinction from others lies in this rite of circumcision, and I believe no one among you would dispute that the Lord has foreseen all that is to come, ensuring that each individual receives a destiny that reflects their deeds.
Thus, the afflictions you face have come upon you rightfully and justly, for you were responsible for the death of the Righteous One and His prophets, and even now, you continue to scorn and exalt those who rely on Him and on God, the Sovereign Creator of all, who sent Him. You also denigrate in your places of worship those who have faith in Christ.
