It is noteworthy that God instructs the use of trumpets exclusively to those within the priestly lineage, thereby granting, in a sense, a hidden wisdom to the leaders of the nations and to those set apart for the priestly ministry, providing a call to cultivate the desire for righteousness. This is illustrated in His command to Moses, ‘Make for yourselves two trumpets’ (Num. 10:2). To reinforce this directive, God emphasizes its significance, declaring that ‘The children of Aaron, the priests, shall sound the trumpets: it shall be to you an everlasting ordinance in your generations.’
