Do you not find it alarming that even righteous individuals, who have diligently labored, can fall into such lethargy and a lack of discernment that they are overtaken by an overwhelming urge to revert to gross sin? Are they not rendered so feeble in their restraint that they lament helplessly over their inability to withstand the fierce temptations of passion?
