What is the significance of the phrase, ‘Balaam did not follow his usual practices on Wednesday through sorcery’? Balaam recognized from experience that enchantments hold no power; for He who can make his voice proclaim His will without limit is mightier than he. As a result, Balaam abandoned the use of traditional signs and dedicated his speech to the glorification of God.
