These prophecies did not arise from deceitful sorcery but rather from the strength of the Holy Spirit. He who instructed the donkey to articulate in a human tongue also declared what was to come with the wisdom of the sage. As it is written, "And the Spirit of God was upon him." This was evident in the case of the rebellious Saul; thus, due to the uniqueness of the event, the story was created: "Saul also ate in the presence of the prophet" (1 Sam. 10:11).
