Does the doctor envy the sick man? Of course not. So the righteous man does not envy the sinner either. If you do not know whether you are righteous or not, search your heart and see if it envies the sinner. If you envy the sinner, you are not righteous; but if you do not envy the sinner, then rejoice, righteous man of God!
