The text regarding the tomb of Saul is articulated with greater clarity here. In the writings of Kings, it states: ‘they took his bones, and buried them in an oak tree in Jabesh’ (1 Sam. 31:13), whereas this passage mentions, ‘under an oak tree in Jabesh.’
