As the inhabitants of Judah listened to the messages from the apostles, their previous fury and wrath diminished. The people then affirmed with a sincere oath of faith that the church of Jesus Christ would remain unshaken among them, and that the memory of Him—Who existed before all ages and stands eternal—would endure forever.
