However, Asa fell short in certain aspects. Primarily, he failed to eliminate all the high places, which are the altars dedicated to the Almighty in elevated locations. This was significant because it was prohibited to make sacrifices in any other place, and the worship as dictated by the law was designated to occur in a single location.
