Then came in all the king's wise men, but they could neither read the writing, nor declare the interpretation to the king.
אֱדַ֙יִן֙ עללין עֽ͏ָלִּ֔ין כֹּ֖ל חַכִּימֵ֣י מַלְכָּ֑א וְלָֽא־כָהֲלִ֤ין כְּתָבָא֙ לְמִקְרֵ֔א ופשרא וּפִשְׁרֵ֖הּ לְהוֹדָעָ֥ה לְמַלְכָּֽא׃
