The Israelites journeyed from Bethroth to Misadai, where Aaron passed away and was interred. As noted in Numbers 32:38, Aaron ascended Mount Hor at the Lord's command and died there. This location presents a challenge to understand unless one embraces the common view that Mount Hor refers to the area identified as Misadai, akin to how the western ridge of Mount Sinai is referred to as Horeb.
