Let us lift our voices in prayer to the Lord for this city, every community, and nation, as well as for those who reside in them in faith. We are called to beseech the Lord to wrap our towns and villages in the protective embrace of His grace, safeguarding them from fires, floods, earthquakes, and foreign invasions, and to shield all who dwell within these places in faith, particularly the devout and righteous among them. Communities lacking genuine faith and devotion, where disbelief and impiety prevail, face the risk of divine condemnation akin to that experienced by the ancient cities of Babylon, Tyre, and Sidon, along with their dependent regions. The Lord did not spare even Jerusalem due to the wickedness of its people.
