Cyrill of Jerusalem

He had encountered numerous individuals previously. It is stated, “And Joshua the son of Nun was filled with the Spirit of wisdom,” as “Moses laid his hands upon him.” Do you notice how consistently the Spirit is imparted in both the Old and New Testaments? During Moses' time, the Spirit was given through the act of ordination; likewise, Peter conveyed the Spirit through ordination (See Acts 8:14-17); and grace will be bestowed upon you upon your baptism.
