The enclosure of the tabernacle was marked by a significant curtain measuring 100 cubits in length, equivalent to 150 feet on one of its long sides. However, it was supported by just 20 pillars, resulting in a spacing of five cubits, or 7.5 feet, between each pillar. These pillars were connected by ties, possibly staves, and the veil made of fine white linen was draped over them along with silver staves and attached using silver hooks. Additionally, the tops of the pillars were covered in silver, as noted in Exodus 38:17. At the front of the enclosure, there were only three poles on each side, which held the ends of the linen veil, leaving a 20 cubit-wide opening to serve as the entrance.
