Aquila expresses this more clearly: These individuals have elevated their idols within their hearts and positioned the allure of their wrongdoing before their eyes. In other words, they are acting upon the evil they have devised, and boldly disregarding the judgment that awaits the unjust, they approach you with the intent to interrogate you, hoping to receive a respected reply.
