Thus declares Adonai the Lord: "Recall your transgressions, those moments when your iniquities were unveiled. Consider how your sins will be made evident in all your wrongdoing and in every pursuit: remember that I will be present in these matters. You have become the reason for the boldness of your adversaries, and the demons have spoken the truth. The deception in your actions and your overwhelming wickedness have cut you off from my compassion, rendering you vulnerable to your foes, who have orchestrated an invasion against you in accordance with their design. Consequently, since you have remained loyal to them, it is only right that you face capture and punishment. Following this, the Prophet addresses the rulers, the sovereign, and the priests, declaring:
