In the blood that you have shed, you have sinned, and in your thoughts and deeds, you have defiled yourself. You have diminished your days and brought your appointed years to an end. For persistent wrongdoing often leads to a reduction of the time granted by the Divine for repentance. This is exemplified by the story of Noah, where God allotted a hundred and twenty years for the people to turn from their wickedness. Observing that evil was on the rise, He curtailed that period and, in the hundredth year, brought judgment upon them through the flood. Thus, you have brought your days to an end.

Therefore, God declares, I will make you a subject of mockery to the inhabitants of neighboring cities and distant lands. They will deride you, calling you unclean, infamous, and filled with iniquity. Delighting in your downfall, they will label you as criminal and notorious for your wicked deeds. Following this, a list of various vices is presented.
