The western boundary will commence at the great sea and conclude at the same limit, signifying a stretch from one sea to another, specifically from the Rinokurura stream that empties into the sea to the location opposite the Syrian city of Emath, as previously mentioned. In the realm of allegorical interpretation, the West is consistently linked to the expansive sea, with its tumultuous waves, representing shipwrecks, misfortunes, and the daily perils of losing wealth and possessions. Yet, through the strength of endurance, we can reach Emath—the embodiment of divine truth—where the Lord has assured eternal rewards for those who emerge triumphant from suffering.

The foliage will remain vibrant, and its yield will not diminish; its fruit shall not be underdeveloped, and the freshness it brings each month will yield its initial harvest. These streams arise from the holy ones, providing sustenance, while their decay promotes wellness, indicating that these trees will perpetually produce good fruit, not just once annually, but each month. This is due to the faithful living of the saints, who uphold God’s commandments consistently, not merely during sacred celebrations. It is stated that the leaves will not wither because the practice of virtue is accompanied by their joy. Their fruit is entirely nourishing; we are often in awe of the ascetics devoted to righteousness.

Following this, the Prophet receives a revelation concerning the borders of Israel. To the north lies Imath, known also as the boundary of Damascus. Imath is referred to as Epiphany, and there exist two cities sharing this name in the sacred texts: he proclaims, "To Imath the great." To the east, the Jordan River is designated as the limit, and from the south, it extends to the waters of the forerunner, as translated by the Syrian interpreter, Mari Moth. The western boundary is defined by the sea. God ordained that this territory be allotted not only to the descendants of Israel but also to the foreigners residing among them, who, as recorded, have borne children within your midst. Each tribe shall allow the resident strangers among them to inherit alongside the tribe itself, as declared by the prophet.
