The turbulent, salty waves of the vast, relentless sea can represent the transgressions in which the unrighteous find themselves lost amid the darkness of their earthly existence, as well as the depths of their impending judgment, for at the Final Judgment, they will be cast into the eternal fire along with the adversary. It is crucial to note that when the Tabernacle was established on Mount Sinai, the Red Sea lay to its west, and when it was transported to Shiloh and erected there by Joshua, the Mediterranean Sea stretched in the same direction toward it.

In the profound interpretation of Scripture, we might recognize that the faithful who serve the Lord during their earthly journey construct a tabernacle for Him within their hearts, turning away from the arrogant self-adulation of the wicked, perceiving its inevitable end. The righteous will dwell in their eternal abode beside the Lord and will witness the everlasting punishment of the condemned without any detriment to their own blessed state. Thus, our ancestors express their gratitude to the Lord because they not only enjoy the blessings He provides but also perceive the malevolence from which He has rescued them.
