The tumultuous waves of the vast, unending sea may symbolize the transgressions that lead the ungodly to perish in the wickedness of their earthly existence, as well as the depths of their impending ruin, since at the Last Judgment they will be cast into Gehenna alongside the devil. It is essential to note that when the Tabernacle was established on Mount Sinai, the Red Sea lay to the west, and when it was transported to Shiloh and erected there by Joshua, the Mediterranean Sea also stretched in the same direction. In the profound interpretation of Scripture, we can comprehend that the faithful who serve the Lord in this life create a sacred dwelling for Him within their hearts, disregarding the arrogant self-importance of the unrighteous, recognizing its impending end.
