While the "unanimity" of sin’s deceit resides within, the stronghold of darkness and sin remains entrenched in our being. However, when the grace of God captivates the spirit bound by sin, liberating it from bondage, an internal conflict arises: sin is on one side, and righteousness on the other. As this transformation occurs, if human consciousness and freedom align with goodness, sin loses its foundation and begins to diminish. Perseverance in a resolved good intention and patience in cultivating it can thoroughly disrupt and eradicate sin. Thus, the reign of goodness begins to flourish within until a negative thought sneaks in, drawing the will and restoring the division.

Should one allow the sinful impulse to flourish, embracing and manifesting it through action, the goodness starts to wane, and evil intensifies, ultimately seeking to obliterate it. This narrative frequently reflects the inner struggles of those who lack resolve and possess a wavering spirit.

In response to the allegations made against Him, Jesus faced the scribes who covertly insinuated that He expelled demons through Beelzebub, the prince of demons. Rather than allowing their accusations to go unchallenged, He directly countered their slander, demonstrating His divine knowledge. He initiated His defense with relatable examples to compel His adversaries to acknowledge their error.

Jesus taught that any community—be it a kingdom, a city, or a household—thrives through the unity of its members. If internal conflicts, disputes, and divisions arise, weakening that unity, the community will inevitably falter. He reasoned, "If I, possessed by a demon, drive out other demons, this implies a division and conflict among them; if they are pitted against one another, their collective power is diminished and ultimately fails. And if Satan expels Satan, he becomes divided against himself; a divided entity cannot maintain its strength and will perish. If he is destined to perish, how is he able to expel others?" Thus, He provided the first rebuttal to their claims.
