In this context, the previously articulated meaning of our interpretation becomes much more evident. Individuals should not be afraid of those who can kill the body but are unable to kill the soul. For if even the smallest creatures do not fall without God's guidance, how much more secure is a person who is upheld by apostolic authority. With His statement, "You even have all the hairs of your head numbered," He reveals the boundless providence of God for humanity and His profound love, for nothing about us escapes His knowledge, not even trivial or fleeting words. The church's understanding of this text is mocked by those who reject the resurrection of the body, as if we assert that even hairs that have been cut by a barber will be restored. However, the Savior did not say, "All the hairs of your head are preserved," but rather "numbered;" and this numbering signifies His awareness of their quantity, rather than their preservation.
