Indeed, humanity's condition is somewhat contingent upon the faith of those receiving healing. However, Christ's demand for faith goes beyond these considerations.

When they addressed Him as the Son of David, He responded by elevating their understanding of His identity, asking them, “Do you believe that I can do this?” He did not inquire whether they believed He could petition the Father on their behalf; rather, He asked straightforwardly if they believed in His power to act.
