Those who once sought to intimidate the builders of the sacred city and obstruct their efforts now find themselves filled with fear and confusion, for they grasp that the construction began and concluded according to God's divine purpose. Similarly, within the holy Church, when a strong foundation of love, temperance, peace, and other virtues is established, the unclean spirits are alarmed, and their temptations are repelled by our spiritual strength, leading to a more profound victory.

This understanding can also be applied to heretics and false believers, who are either corrected through the steadfast faith of the righteous, expressed through love, or who reveal their true nature in such a way that the faithful are wary of them and expel them from the Church's sacred community.
