It is noted that Moses, representing the law, established that all territories obtained through warfare and violence should be allocated by lot to the Israelite people. The daughters of Zelophehad petitioned for a share of this land, asserting their right as his daughters. Nevertheless, Moses did not designate any land for the Levites, whose dwelling was not in the physical realm but in a higher spiritual calling. Instead, he provided them with a reward for their ministry, free from the burdens of agricultural toil. One might wonder about the identity of these daughters of Zelophehad who seek a portion of the land. Their name signifies the darkness of speech.

This is reflective of those who lack the truth in their words and do not uphold righteousness in their declarations, as indicated in Psalm 5:10.
