Let us explore how the mother presented her offering; let us accompany this woman as she enters the sanctuary. "And she went up," it is stated, "with him into Silom ... with a calf of three years old." Thus, the offering was twofold: one was a silent calf and the other a spoken one; the first was offered by the priest, while the second was raised by the woman. Her contribution was far superior to that of the priest: she was a priestess through her own lineage, reflecting the example set by the patriarch Abraham, and arose to challenge him.

While Abraham took his son and eventually returned him, she dedicated her son to the temple for eternity; it is more fitting to acknowledge that, although he elevated his offering with sincerity, we should focus not on what he left unexpressed, but on what he fully accomplished spiritually. Observe how the woman competes with her husband? Notice how nature did not hinder her desire to challenge the patriarch?
